The Residenza Antica Hotel is housed in a very traditional 5-storey building, which has been renovated to a high standard. The small lobby is furnished in a traditional style. There’s an unusual glass topped reception desk to the immediate left of the entrance and a compact sitting area composed of two easy chairs. A carpeted stairway takes guests to the upper floors. The décor varies from room o room. Some have light cream walls while others have patterned wallpaper and red carpets. In all cases, however, the head of the bed is covered by a beautiful canopy. The hotel houses a nice restaurant, called Colle Palatino, on the 5th floor, where guests can enjoy fine cuisine while admiring the lovely views of Rome. This is a pleasant, individually designed property, offering a wonderful experience and great value for money.
